Sperm banking is best performed by cryopreserving a fresh (within 2-3 hours of collection) specimen.  This is most often accomplished by producing the specimen at the freezing center, however, you may prefer to produce the semen specimen in the privacy of your home and transport it to the center.  If you have been admitted to a hospital, you may produce your specimen at the hospital and have a family member deliver it to the freezing center.  Appointments are required in either case.
